Insider witnesses and international criminal justice: Empirical analysis

A new publication by the CICJ/NSCR researchers Gabriele Chlevickaite, Barbora Hola, and Catrien Bijleveld in the European Journal of Criminology presents the results of large-scale systematic analysis of insider witness assessments at international criminal courts and tribunals. Based on the analysis of 1,359 individual witnesses in 93 trial judgments, the article uncovers what factors play a role in insider witness assessments, and how these factors relate to the outcomes of judicial assessments.
